Lía de Luxán Hernández es licenciada en Traducción e Interpretación (2007, primera de su promoción y mención nacional) y en Derecho (2010). En la actualidad, es Profesora Contratada Doctora en la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, adscrita al Departamento de Filología Moderna Traducción e Interpretación, institución a la que lleva vinculada profesionalmente desde 2008, cuando se le concedió una beca FPU del Ministerio de Educación (AP 2007-02301) para formarse como personal docente e investigador y obtuvo así su título de doctorado europeo cum laude (2012) y el premio extraordinario de doctorado por la rama de Artes y Humanidades (2014). Su docencia se enmarca en el Máster de Formación del Profesorado y en los siguientes Grados: Lenguas Modernas, Traducción e Interpretación, Turismo y Educación Primaria. Cuenta con el grado de excelencia como docente a través del programa DOCENTIA. Se le han concedido todos los tramos de méritos docentes, de investigación y de servicios institucionales por la agencia de evaluación canaria ACCUEE. Posee las evaluaciones positivas de la ANECA como Profesor Ayudante Doctor (2015), Profesor de Universidad Privada (2016) y Profesor Contratado Doctor (2016). Su grupo de investigación ha obtenido el premio al mejor grupo de investigación (G9-Historia, Economía y Sociedad) de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, por la rama de Artes y Humanidades, en el año 2018. Ha estado de estancia de investigación en las siguientes universidades: Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (mayo-noviembre de 2019), University of Leeds (septiembre-noviembre de 2011), University of Limerick (septiembre-diciembre de 2010). Lía de Luxán Hernández holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting (2007, first in her class and national mention) and in Law (2010). She is currently a Professor with a PhD at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, attached to the Department of Modern Philology, Translation and Interpreting, an institution to which she has been professionally linked since 2008, when she was awarded an FPU scholarship from the Ministry of Education (AP 2007-02301) to train as a teaching and research staff and thus obtained her European doctorate cum laude (2012) and the extraordinary doctorate award for the branch of Arts and Humanities (2014). Her teaching is part of the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training and the following Degrees: Modern Languages, Translation and Interpreting, Tourism and Primary Education. She has the degree of excellence as a teacher through the DOCENTIA program. He has been awarded all the merit categories for teaching, research and institutional services by the Canarian evaluation agency ACCUEE. He has positive evaluations from ANECA as Assistant Professor Doctor (2015), Private University Professor (2016) and Contracted Professor Doctor (2016). His research group has obtained the award for the best research group (G9-History, Economy and Society) of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, for the branch of Arts and Humanities, in 2018. He has been on research stays at the following universities: Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (May-November 2019), University of Leeds (September-November 2011), University of Limerick (September-December 2010).
